Sarah Giordano Curran

Being a member of the Giordano family, Sarah Curran has been surrounded by her grandfather’s legacy her entire life.  While attending dance events and performances for her grandfather and being involved at the School, Curran fell in love with jazz dance. She danced at the School as a GUS Company Member from age 7 until she graduated high school. Currently, she in her Senior year at the University of Alabama studying dance as her major and communications as her minor. She has been featured in pieces at the University of Alabama choreographed by Lawrence Jackson, Rebecca Salzer, and Blair Andersen. Curran choreographed and performed this past summer at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland with Yonder Dance Company. Curran is on faculty at the School when she is home for summer and for breaks, teaching as much as she can. She loves teaching children and observing how they grow in the studio!  She is honored to continue her grandfather’s legacy with her mother & two siblings.
