Shaolin Cuevas | Apprentice
Shaolin Cuevas began her dance journey at the age of five at GUS, where she trained, performed, and grew as an artist until graduating high school. During her time there, she was also a dedicated member of the GUS Leadership Program, gaining valuable experience in teaching and mentoring young dancers. Currently, Shaolin is pursuing her BFA in Dance through the prestigious Alvin Ailey/Fordham University program, focusing primarily on Modern and Ballet techniques, while also studying West African dance and improvisation. Alongside her dance training, she is on a pre-health track at Fordham University, taking coursework to prepare for medical school and pursue a future in the medical field. Shaolin is very excited to return to her roots as a Gus Legacy Company Apprentice!
