JAYDEN PERKINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARHIPS

Jayden Perkins passed away suddenly on March 13. He was on a full dance scholarship from the Gus Legacy Foundation since 2021.

Jayden was a talented dancer, a straight-A student at Helen C. Peirce Elementary School and an active member of the theater club and football team. He was a friend to everyone and brought so much joy into our lives.

May 16, 2024 will mark the inaugural year of the Jayden Perkins Memorial Scholarships.

Jayden Perkins Memorial Scholarships will be awarded every year to the dancer that embodies Jayden's amazing spirit and light.

Gus Giordano did more than train dancers and teachers, he was an ambassador within his community and throughout the world. Gus left an indelible mark on the lives of those he taught Jazz Dance.

Gus and Peg Giordano gave thousands of dollars in scholarships to many dancers in their lifetime and their daughter, Amy, has continued the tradition of giving scholarships since their passing.
