Nicole Belanger Weingarten
Dance Education Director

Nicole Belanger began her dance training at the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers in Massachusetts. Gus was Charlotte’s mentor and she passed down his technique to her students. Nicole grew up learning Gus’ technique at CKDC and later received a full scholarship to study with Gus Giordano Dance School. During that time she immersed herself in learning the technique and now teaches it to students of all ages. She has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology and has recently become the Dance Education Director at Gus Giordano Dance School. Nicole has trained extensively with many Ballet Professionals in the Boston area and performed as a Soloist in the Boston Ballet Dance Company Nutcracker for over 8 years. Nicole has been on scholarship with Aerial Dance Chicago, Thodos Dance Chicago Intensive, Inaside Dance Chicago Intensive and was a Company Member of Piel Morena Contemporary Dance. She performs throughout Chicago and loves to perform Gus' pieces including, Sing Sing Sing, Trolley to Chicago & Gang Hep. She has worked closely with former assistants of Gus’, Pattie Obey, Jimmy Locust, Susan Quinn & Marcus Alford. Nicole is the Dance Education Director and is also a full-time teacher at GUS® and specializes in teaching young children, yet enjoys teaching students of all ages. She loves teaching Giordano Jazz master classes to visiting groups. Her warm and caring demeanor creates a safe and welcoming environment for all to thrive and excel.
