College/Professional Intensive

  • This intensive prepares YOU for any career in dance - Broadway, Commercial World, Cruise Ships, Dance Company, Teacher & more!

  • Classes include Gus Giordano Jazz, Gus Giordano Rep, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, Modern, Jazz Funk, Partnering, Musical Theater, Heels, Commercial Jazz, Tap & more

  • Work with master choreographers & perform 6+ pieces in various styles in JAZZ SPECTACULAR!

  • Master Faculty - Broadway Performers, Artistic Directors, Commercial Dancers, University Professors & more give you individual feedback in every style

  • College/Professional Intensive culminates with JAZZ SPECTACULAR performance on July 25, 2025 - Your family will be blown away with all the pieces you perform!

  • Housing costs are sole responsibility of scholarship recipient

    • Accepted dancers receive contact info for all dancers accepted into program mid-April to arrange roommates

    • GUS® recommends rooming with others- Save money & form new friendships

    • GUS® is conveniently located by highways, trains & bus routes

  • Required attire for College/Professional Intensive emailed by June 7

  • Dancer must have graduated high school and be nineteen to twenty-eight years as of 12/31/25

I love that it is a family owned business and all the faculty are so knowledgeable and kind. The intensive is an amazing experience for any dancer on the professional track because you are introduced to so many amazing teachers and choreographers in a month. All these choreographers are working professionals and know how to push you in the right way to help you improve. We have trained in a broad range of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, heels, and even tricks/turns classes. The studio itself is absolutely gorgeous and extremely well kept/very clean. Everything is so organized and there is great communication which I love.
